Our weekly timetable is structured to strike a balance between academic study and extra curricular activity as we believe this helps with pupils’ physical, spiritual, social and moral development
We ensure each year group experiences ‘Adventure Days’ in the nearby Vinona, Harare National Park during the year, and also, as part of our second curriculum, offer pupils a mix of outdoor activities such as mountaineering, climbing, paddle sports and trail running, as well as creative arts including musical production, cookery, action photography, robotics and video game development. These options have created a ‘second curriculum Saturday’ leaving weekdays primarily focused on academic lessons.
In the video opposite , Deputy Head (Pastoral), Simon Hill, talks about how we combine academic lessons with a rich extra-curricular programme with plenty of opportunities to experience the outdoors or try a new hobby or skill .

Eureka — from the Greek, meaning “I have found it” — is the moment of discovery we nurture in every pupil. Our motto: Building scientific confidence which lasts for a lifetime.
